- Are you or someone you love living with a disability?
- Do you have a chronic illness that’s affecting your sex life?
- Do you experience challenges like pelvic pain, erectile dysfunction or limited mobility?
As we go through life, it’s normal to experience changes within our bodies and our sexual functioning. Many of us get stuck longing for times past, when our bodies were more free and responsive.
This Sunday at 4pm at our West Hollywood store, we offer a unique opportunity for those living with disability or chronic illness to explore solutions for achieving and maintaining a happy sex life.
The Pleasure Chest is pleased to welcome sex educator Megan Andelloux for Sexy Times with (dis)Abilities & Chronic Illnesses, a free workshop open to individuals, partners and couples.
In this class, she’ll examine the sexual challenges often faced when dealing with disability or illness, while gaining tools to enhance the changes our bodies have made. Through discussion and demonstration, we’ll learn how to create exciting new sexual possibilities and explore ways of being sexual despite the difficulties that may confront us. This session will touch on many issues, but will focus specifically on cancer, diabetes, pelvic pain, and problems of limited mobility. The workshop is totally free of charge and open to all adults.
